I would say it's chilled-out base for staying and exploring Cortona. Location adjacent to main attractions bars and restaurants and the centre.

awesome stay in the great area. the hotel was silent, staff was willing to help. i was offered exceptional breakfast with a spectacular view. room was updated and the bathroom was bright, i liked it.

The hotel was fairly clean, the rooms were perfect. Television, climate control and two windows in the room, lovely location. Exceptionally good English breakfast with healthy meals. A sandy beach, gorgeous view.

Everything great. Walking to piazza della repubblica was easy, as it took only 5 minutes. Trattoria la grotta, located within 10 minutes' walk, is a good dining option;))

One could dine at restaurants such as la bucaccia da romano 5 minutes away. There was a free WiFi. Excellent base for a city trip in Cortona...
